7 months no journals, where the hell do you start!

back home, unforseen circumstances meant glasgow had to be left behind ah well, i'm sure i will be back. It's strange, i really miss the city life, it's far better at keeping time with me than Ayrshire, i need night time activity, when i am actually awake

Yeah, insomnia is getting worse, i've almost completely lost the ability to Sleep during the week, now it's just a few hours each night and a nap when i come in, i don't know what it is. Maybe it's just getting to me after this long, but i never get a good nights sleep on a Sunday and it's down hill from there. My desire to stay up and enjoy 1am pizza isn't helping either, but it's a guilty pleasure everyone can enjoy.

It's only happened to me once before but i'm going to have to do it again, i've amassed so many messages i'm never going to be able to read them all, thankfully i never get lots of notes or comments so i don't have anything i should be responding to to loose, journals i can handle, hot topics... pfft, but it's the deviations i have missed that annoy me the most, i'll not be able to trawl though the 6 and a half thousand i've left idling in the message center but i will go to as many people's pages on my watch list as i can to see what you've been upto, it's always hard to come back after you've been away, but no motivation or free time for photoing left me a bit doon and out about dA, then Ema gave me into trouble for not using it and i was compelled to go back and have a peek

Started saving for a car upgrade in January. Will keep you posted (probably in the next journal )

Just got myself a 430EX Speedlite, still learning how to work it, but it seems to meter quite well, thanks canon. Will get to give it a try next week so stay tuned for possibly, some posts

Time off is good, major projects are better. We're building a new dairy in the west country, massive thing. Just building the servers for it over the next few weeks. 40TB of storage, 11 boxes, 5 in clusters, 4Gbps fiber fabric, mind bogling ethernet topology and all the bells and whistles we asked for. It's mega, and anyone who knows my love for toys, this is a big big toy
